My first Vipassana experience

Meditation is a variety of exercises and practices that allow you to relax, clear your mind, control your mind and find inner peace. There are many ways to meditate. One of techniques is Vipassana, or “insight meditation”.

Vipassana is one of the oldest meditation techniques, originated in India some 2,500 years ago as a “universal remedy for all sorrows”. Vipassana means “to see reality as it is” in Pali.

This is a set of exercises for observing one’s thoughts and emotions, one’s inner self. Thanks to this practice, you can calm your mind, dwell less on the past, shift your focus to the present, understand the true meaning of your thoughts and emotions, worry less about the future, and appropriately react to what is happening around you.
